Principal’s Message

Dover Shores Elementary Principal

Dear Dover Shores Families,

As I begin my third year as the proud principal of Dover Shores Elementary, I continue to feel honored to serve a school community that is so deeply rooted in connection, history, and heart. With 12 years in school administration and experience across a range of diverse school communities—I can say with confidence that Dover Shores is truly something special.

We are a small neighborhood school with a big sense of family. Many of our dedicated staff are former students themselves, and our students are children of previous students. That strong sense of tradition and pride can be felt in every hallway and classroom. It’s what makes this school not just a place of learning, but a place of belonging.

At Dover Shores, our focus is on the whole child. We are committed to building a strong academic and social-emotional foundation that will support our students far beyond the elementary years. We believe that success isn’t just measured in test scores, but in confidence, character, and connection.  We also understand the importance of academic success and our teachers are dedicated to ensuring strong standards aligned instruction designed to ensure student growth.

We also know that an exceptional school experience includes strong family partnerships. That’s why we strive to engage our families in meaningful and inclusive ways—because when schools and families work together, students thrive.

Thank you for entrusting us with your children. I look forward to another incredible year of learning, growth, and community.

With gratitude,

Dr. Stephanie Osmond
